The pace · Hummingbird Highway, Belize

Living in Belize, unhurried

People asking about living in Belize, or about moving to Belize, are often asking about a pace. On this ridge the pace already has a name: land-time. Utility-time runs on meters, rates, and alerts. Land-time runs on light, water, food, and weather. Kyla Point is in design. Nothing is built, and there is no lodging.

Kyla Point is in the concept and design stage. Images are conceptual renderings.

A ridge near Dangriga

Between the jungle, the Sibun River, and the foothills of the Maya Mountains, a ridge on Belize's Hummingbird Highway is being held for a very few families. It is about 30 minutes from Dangriga and 90 minutes from Belize City. Dangriga, the district town of Stann Creek, is the nearest town and the way down to the Caribbean coast.

Roughly one hundred acres of regenerative jungle are planned to hold a very small number of private placements. We call them grid points. The district carries Garifuna and Maya history far older than any floor plan. We speak about that history with respect and presence. We never treat it as décor. The place, written as its own page, is the Hummingbird Highway ridge.

What the day asks

Morning arrives through valley glass before any screen does. The twelve-sided chamber is designed to face the canopy so dawn has a path into the room where you would sleep. Midday can be silence. Evening returns gold to the circle. A shared table when the harvest allows. Solitude in the circle when the chamber asks for it.

That day is design intention, not a finished site. It is told more slowly in a day of land-time. Whether the question is daily life, a move, or whether to retire in Belize, this page does not describe a programme or an outcome.

Ownership by invitation

Invitation-only Toroidal Field Sanctuaries are the residential path: private placements for families who want to live on the ridge. We work with very few families at a time. There is no open house, no public booking, and no lodging. The public starting configuration is a turnkey one-bedroom, planned from $1,000,000 USD. Two-bedroom and other configurations are discussed in private conversation.

The path, at a high level, is a stewarded conversation: inquiry, private conversation, then diligence with your own advisors. It is not legal advice. Read how ownership works and the ownership FAQ. Nothing on the ridge is built.

Bring your own counsel

Anyone considering living in Belize, moving there, or ownership from abroad should obtain independent legal and tax counsel licensed in Belize and, where needed, in their home jurisdiction. We do not provide legal, tax, or immigration advice. Questions about Belize residency belong with that counsel. This page makes no claim about residency programmes, eligibility, taxes, or outcomes.
